Therapy certified mini

Hi,
Currently I volunteer at a Thorougbred horse rescue. The rescue owns 3 mini horses they use as ambassadors for the rescue and for fund raising events.
My husband and I have been taking care of the minis. We are interested in buying a mini therapy horse in the future.
Does anyone have experience with this?

I am certified with our farm's mini-horse named Race Car. We are certified through Pet Partners (www.petpartners.org). They are a great organization with excellent training for both people and animals. It will take a bit of training but nothing too difficult. I suggest that your mini have a really mellow temperament and love to be around people. No nippers or nervous Nellies. As we all know, minis can have big personalities sometimes!
