This is what momma looked like at 328 days:

Shoo Fly Acres Buttercup, Age 17, 33+" tall, Gold Melody Boy II granddaughter

Here's what she popped out at 2:15am this morning (day 332):

It's a FILLY, palomino (I think) with star and snip. Cannon to top-of-hoof measures 7.5" and about 22" at the last hair. WAY taller than we generally have, but it's sure ALL in her legs!!! Momma is not very keen on people touching her baby, so these are the only ones we could get. The vet just left and it took 2 of us to hold momma (and she was tied!) so the vet could examine the baby! :DOH!

No name yet!

Thanks for looking!

Ohhhhh, she's beautiful Parmela! She came all filled out and everything! Such a pretty dished face with those markings! Congratulations!

Congratulations Parmela on a cute filly!

With her sire being a black and white pinto i was a little suprised that she is palomino. Thats great for you though.

So, the poor ole gal foaled!? She didn't look like she could've gotten much bigger! Congratulations on a beautiful filly, her head is so pretty, too.
