I would like to thank this forum and all the members for the valuable information. Without it my foal would have been gone at birth.
My mare Comtessa has had a red bag delivery on monday. Fortunately she foaled right after dinner and I was there. I saw the red bag and I instantly knew what has to be done. Without the great articles with many photos about foaling I wouldn't be prepared.
I opened both bags, grabbed the foal and pulled it out. Foal and mare are fine and none of them took damage. I am so thankfull.
In the picture the little colt is app.1,5 hours and and very tired of the exciting of birth. I will post more pics when he is unfolded.
Thanks again, Jessica
