Tail Question

My Mares tail is gray at the bottom. When I got her her tail was an orangey color. As time has gone by it is growing out gray. Now part of it is gray part is orange. I think it has always been gray but it is stained from her urine. I want to try to get the orange out.

Today I put hair peroxide on it and washed it and wow it has sure lightened up! I was wondering what yall do to get it out.

Bag it up so no more urine hits it, and then as it grows out longer, trim off the orange ends. Eventually it will all grow out and be trimmed off.
