I will soon be in the market for a new tack trunk big enough for a collar and hame team harness. Of coarse price is important but most bang for the buck is more important. Any sugestions on product and place to get it please. Thanks

Try a Home Depot or something like that. They have big containers that might work.
You can get the tool boxes that got in the back of pickups for a pretty good price. They are weather proof and mouse proof. And they lock.
I have two medium trunk/bins from Home Depot for my harnesses which don't have collars. I also have a large one from Home Depot. The large one is made by Stanely and I think it would fit the collar and hames OK. The Stanely trunk has wheels which is a handy option.
I've been looking at the horsemans pride tack trunk at state line tack. Yes it's $175 but its lockable simi waterproof, and has wheels.
I have plastic bins from Walmart. They have lids, and as I don't travel or share barn space they are a cheap alternative. They also stack nicely.
