Our first club show of the season was held this past Sunday. This is our 4th year of showing with the Mason Dixon Miniature Horse Association (MDMHA). In the previous 3 years, I've only shown in halter and color. Just getting ready and getting to the show was all I could handle!

This year, I wanted to do more. And by a stroke of luck, I found a sweet young lady at my church who loves my horses almost as much as I do. So we're showing the horses together this year. We've added Youth (her) and Green (me) Hunter, Youth Showmanship (her), and Green Trail Obstacle (me). Out of 7 classes we entered (Sr. Mare Halter and both color classes), we came home with 6 ribbons. We are pleased as punch!

Here are two pics from our day:

Myself with my 4 yr old silver bay, Missy. It took 3 tries to get us over 4 of the 5 jumps and *I* knocked over the middle jump! But we got around!
