I got my tests results in on my two foals...

Stormy is homozygous tobiano and black-not smokey black. ( TT, Ee, aa, nn for cream and nn for silver)

Trixie is definitely a buckskin. (Ee, AA and nn for cream)

If she's nn for cream, doesn't that mean she's bay not buckskin?

Congratulations on your colt's test results!

Trixie is definitely a buckskin. (Ee, AA and nn for cream)
If that's printed correctly, then your filly would be bay, not buckskin as the test shows negative for cream.

Your pretty filly looks like a lovely bay dun to me-- heterozygous black and homozygous agouti

Is she a bay roan rather than buckskin? I'm wondering because of test results and the darker head.

You know...you guys are right!!! She must be a bay roan dun...that would explain the red and white flecks going on where she has shed out on her rump!! I started clipping her head and neck and her face is definitely a darker shade. I will post pics as soon as I finish clipping her face...she was not a happy or cooperative girl yesterday!!!!

I don't think she is the right color for a blue roan???? She would be more grey/silver looking, right? Her coat is definitely more red than grey or blue.
