What is the difference between the Aged Mare Class and the Broodmare Class?

Someone else can confirm because I might be wrong (that has happened once or twice -- haha).

I think the aged mare class is for mares who are 3yo or older.

The broodmare class, I think, is for mares who currently have foals at their side.

Broodmares could show in a senior mare class if they wished however that would be kinda dumb.

The broodmare class is intend for mares who are wet(currently nurseing a foal). IT in my opinon gives them more of a chance as obviously a broodmare doesnt normally stand a chance against a tops show mare.
