So true now adays...

Thought this was a cute poem for all the mom's that text, go on computers or phones..

I change a few words here and there

 

The new generation... Mommy's Online

I can hear her calling, so I know she is fine.

"Where's Mommy?" she is saying, don’t she know I'm Online?!!!

"I’m Hungry!” I hear. I tell her, "Please hush!

Mom is online now, what is the rush!!?"

 

She had a bite yesterday when the phone lines were out,

this child drive me crazy...Oh look! There's a pout!

I dispense bowls of cereal as I download a file...

No time wasted here...so I give her a smile

 

I check out the boards and respond to a few,

"I’m so bored!" moan the child, "What can I do?!!"

I tell her to stop, please do not whine.

Gees’...can't she see her mom is busy online!

 

Her grumbling continues as she wander’s about

"Mom's ALWAYS on the Computer!" she shouts!

Unawares to me, she yank’s the phone from the Jack,

saying, "Nana is right...this is the way to get Mommy back!"

It is sooo true! Thankfully my mom isn't a big addict--BUT she did just get a new iphone and....

A bit too close to home as my son's family is this way. They all have electronics, even the 8 yr old, and they (all 5) sit in their own little world's.
