I don't know if anyone recalls, but I bought a mini horse from a teenage boy at a 4-H show last year. The 140lb 5'10' boy was riding him and the poor horse had a sign duct- taped to his rear :$75 obo. The kid guessed the horse's age at 2-3 years old and had no background info only that he'd had him for a year and broke him to ride. I took him home.

After I got him home, I found he had girth galls and sores on his mouth and face. AND he was petrified of people- including me. Long story short: he is now fat, happy, very in-your-face and he even let the neighbor girl walk up to him and pet him. Then he let her ride him. We only did that for a minute with lots of praise. I am so proud!
