I try as much as I can to learn all of the pinto stuff, but let's face it it's a bit mind bogling

Should I test this colt for LWO???

Besides the snip on his nose he has a long lightning bolt white marking that runs along his underjaw from his throat all the way to his chin. I've never been very successful in getting a clear picture of it.

His Sire is buckskin with socks. His Dam is Chesnut pinto, like him, definitely sabino, and I believe splash, she has a big blaze.

I can post more pictures of the colt, and his Sire and Dam if need be.

Also is there more than the place in Florida that does the testing???

Personally with this colt, I would not have him tested.

But, if you need to have peace of mind, testing isn't that costly.

I think you are safe with this one. Now if he had white under his chin and had a parent that was overo....then I would test.

Lyn, Does the white zigzag that runs the underside of his jaw count as white on his lower chin? It's not on his lower lip, but his Mom's chin white does cover her lower lip.
