I just had to tell you all that I ground drove Buddy today, and he was a gem. It took a bit to get him going forward, but when he did, he was perfect. We even practiced stopping and turning--(love his flexibility).

I think this boy is going to make a lovely driving horse!

. He also ended up with two apples today, as I took a leap of faith in his ability, and we left my driveway--out onto the road. It was quiet, and we got to meet the natural gas man, and my neighbor-(with his dog that Buddy did not spook at either).

I had the best day, and can't wait to go tomorrow

. Buddy also has that 'regal ' look like he knows he did good. I'm so proud of my boy

I really wanted to see how he trotted out under harness, but all we did today was walk. He was as cool as a cucumber. I can see him have that 'get up and go power' though if asked. I'm so excited for my little gelding. He's one in a million, and we all love him around here. He's a neighborhood 'celebrity' ,,,
