Prior nomination of stallion and mare NOT required for 2013!
The South Dakota Miniature Equine Club has "revamped" and "revised" our futurity. Since the futuriy has not been held for the last two years, it was decided that ANYONE who wants to enter a yearling, two year old, or three year old can do so by paying back fees with NO LATE FEES, including initial nominations of mare and stallion! So even if you've NEVER nominated for the SD futurity, you can get in on the fun this year! Also, all those back fees will go to the payout for the class you are in - which means there should be some good sized payouts!
Classes are for yearlings, two year olds and three year olds in halter, with two height splits in unders, one height in overs.
There's also Country pleasure driving (over and under) for three year olds!
The best part? The show will be held in conjunction with the South Dakota Miniature Horse Club Alliance Spring Extravaganza show in Sioux Falls, SD! The SDMHCA show is May 18 (AMHR) and 19 (AMHA) - the futurity will be Sunday before the AMHA show. This is a GREAT show, that is always well attended and a lot of fun, including a social on Saturday night sponsored by the SDMEC.
