Well the market is pretty strong according to these prices.. a few were AMHR/ASPC registered some were young and they thought would stay small enough to be AMHR /ASPC and the rest were ASPC- I am pretty sure all these are right and the high seller was ASPC only

I didn't get to watch the sale due to work, but came back and checked out prices.. Not too bad.. I absolutely fell in love with WALL STREET ROCK E SERANADE IN BLUE

, and looks like he was top seller.. Will be watching for him!

A very good start to the show and sale season to say the least, there were some awesome horses in the sale. Well run, good number of bidders, horses brought decent money and a good time to be had.

We were bad and bought 5 ourselves and are looking forward to getting them home tonight.

Sorry, I'm a newbie here. Is this an annual sale? Where is it held? Is there anywhere I can go to see the catalogue from the sale so I can match the horses with the prices that have been posted? Thanks!

AHA! I found the catalogue online. Thanks anyway.

If I wasn't going to college in september I would of snagged number 6 he was so tiny and pretty

I loved ALOT of others though..

Since this was a dispersal, I don't believe this will be an annual event.

Between Jan (Multihitch), myself and Karin (NaKar) we came home with 5 -- 3 stallions and 2 mare, one of which is 280 days in foal. We got Lot 10 - SWF Atoms Illusion, Lot 38 - Wall Streets Rock E Rock On Lisa E (bred to B&L Rock "E" Heads Up), Lot 52 - B&Ls Rock E The Navigator, Lot 55 -Martins Mardi Gras Jetta (in foal to Star Stucks Diamond's Golder Image BK, Lot 83 - Red Rocks Showdeo Lee EWM.

I also purchased Lot #6, but sold him shortly after I bought him to a wonderful Lady who talked me out of him.

It was a great sale, wonderfully run and also the end of an era--the dispersal of the largest Rock "E" herd around. Lots of people now have a piece of that heritage.

I won't say who bought who as I"ll let them announce their own new acquisitions.

Long day, but well worth it.

You got an awesome stallion in Navigator, I was on him and should have gone more. But when we saw it was you folks that were bidding against us, we backed off. I think you made the buy of the sale on him. He is awesome.

As far as this being a yearly thing, no it is as someone said a dispersal of the Wall Street herd. Bill kept a few mares and Hershey out of the herd, but the erd is now in many places. Which is a good thing I think as we can all benefit from the Rock E bloodline in our herds.

Congrats to everyone that got a piece of it. We are looking forward to working with our accquisitions. LOL

John wish I could say I had part of that boy as Navigator is something special but he is just about 45 miles from me so I have access to him and vice versa on the boys I purchased.

You bought some nice ones also. Just keep them in Texas

Who was it that got Navigator, like you said he is a really cool stallion.

I had planned on not buying anything, but you see how that goes. We are really excited about Ms Wiser and also the Waulk About Mare. The filly is going to be nice also I think, we will see if we can get enough weight on her for congress. She needs about 150 lbs. to be in show condition.

And the colt is a wild child in color and is scared to death, which I can understand.

Awesome sale and I personally enjoyed seeing all the horses. There were some spectacular ones and not just the ones that brought the most money. I think the best buys were for some of the lesser priced horses that have produced spectacular get in the past for Wall Street. I think everyone got some real quality horses in this sale we will all be hearing from in the near future.

Does anyone know who got Rock On? I tried calling in on him, but the phone lines were busy and I got through just as he sold. I really want to locate that pony and bring him to Minnesota!

John, did you purchase the Black on Ice colt? Were you bidder 237 or 217? I know we will be seeing a lot of these horses out and about, especially at Congress this year. I think you are very right in the fact that a lot of extremly nice horses went to folks and we will be hearing and seeing a lot from them in the future.

Jan and Karin bought Navigator and you will be hearing and see a lot about him in the near future.

Wall Streets Rock E Rock On was bought by someone on the internet.

We were 237 and yes we got the colt. He has a really bad cough right now and very skinny. But we will get him over all that hopefully. I also got the ASPC/AMHR mare Colorful Ms Wiser (superior dam, Get Of Dam Champion and producer of 4 national champions I know of off the top of my head) .

I can't wait to see all these horses out there in the ring also.

The competition will be tougher than normal at Congress this year in Ardmore I think, there are some really nice horses I expect to see there.

I really liked that colt and had him on my list to consider but had to make a choice. I bet he is going to be a good one. My boys have a slight cough but treating it and they are lots better today.

Who bought lot #19? I was going to bid on her but didn't get home in time from work. I got through for bidding on Heads Up--I fell head over heels for him Friday night (we went down for the pre sale, and got to walk through the barns) I was able to go in the stall with him and he is a total puppy. I wanted him for combined driving, but he went too high for me. I watched for awhile, then had to drive down to Dallas. When I lost out on Heads Up Jane (Field of Dreams) asked if I wanted her to bid on anyone else--and she bought me #66 for $500.

NOTHING like he looked in the catalogue. He is sweet, remarkably easy to handle for a 5 year old bachalor stallion, correct, and OMG can he move! He is a little smaller than I was looking for, but at 41" he fits in all my B miniature stuff. Right now he is in quarantine at Janes place with her 2. He has a cough--sadly, there were a lot of underweight, very sick horses at the sale. I can't wait to get him home!

Congrats to all the new owners! Everyone is right--Ardmore or bust this year!
