Saddle help?

Hey folks,
So I'm new to minis and I've bought a western saddle for her but is unmounted. I want to saddle break her so she can just be a lead line pony for little kiddies....
Anyway, my question is about latigo straps? Is there special mini ones to buy or can i just buy normal size nylon ones and cut them to size? Thanks guys, appreciate any help or tips

They’re the same width, just different length. I buy the pony size ones because they’re usually cheaper by a few dollars.

I’ve also just used two billet straps because little kids aren’t as heavy and the littlest ones aren’t mounting with the stirrups, so the saddle doesn’t have to be cinched down as tight to stay put and I can get plenty of leverage just pulling it upward on a short mini.
