Would anyone be willing to share some details about Roadster? I would like to know how it works, and what to look for in a horse. Also, can you use a roadster cart for trail drives (In a park lets say).

Thank you! I may be interested in doing some roadster classes if I think one of my horses is okay.

You can use your roadster cart for any kind of driving you want. That up to you. I just find them fairly uncomfortable for long periods of time. We showed roadster for many years and only being in the cart for a single event in a ring is much different than heading out for a ninety minute jaunt down the roads. We also restricted the extra driving during the show season since it tends to take some of the "flash" out of them. Roadster animals appear to show nicer when they are a bit hot so to speak.
