Rice Bran Supplements

Currently I am feeding Omelene 500 along with soaked beet pulp/alfalfa pellets, Soy Oil, and Platinum Performance vitamins. My hay is a very soft, blue-green eastern Oregon Orchard hay.

The horses look good, other than short manes and tails from rubbing earlier in the year. However I am concerned about the high volume of sugar they are getting. I am considering trying Renew Gold in place of some of their grain. Has anyone else used this product? I've also looked at the Empower.

I like the benefits of the coconut meal/oil and how it promotes hair growth and adds shine.

Anyone have any input?

I've never used it, but I checked out their website and they do offer a money back guarantee if you're not satisfied, which is always good.

I've used Natural Glo stabilized rice bran for many years, and have always been happy with the product and the results.

Liz N. what's the difference between the Max E Glo Stabilized Rice Bran Pellet and the Natural Glo Stabilized Rice Bran? How much do you use during feeding?

I've never tried Max E Glo, but here are the links to the nutritional info for the 2 products. I feed approx. 1/2 lb. for the full size horses, so that would need to obviously be adjusted for the minis.
