Hello.. I'm new here.

Anywho.. I'm moving soon to a place with some land, and I was considering getting a Mini. I've wanted one for quite a while, but until now I haven't had anywhere to keep one. I have a horse already- he's a Quarter Horse- and I keep him with my grandparents but I think that they'd freak out if I asked to keep a Mini up there too.

Anyway, I was wondering if there were any Mini Horse rescues that you know of in Texas, preferably around the Austin area.

You may want to contact Lone Star Equine Rescue; they have a very good reputation. They do have a miniature rescue available who looks like she needs a really good home!
