I have permission to crosspost this from the author/vet who rescued and is treating this puppy she calls Petie.
As of today his boo boo is MUCH better (you'll see what his owwie was below)
One side is fully healed the other side has a dime sized area that needed to be resutured.
He has been neutered today and is available for adoption.
Now onto Petie
*warning - not for the faint of heart!*

"I want to introduce you all to little Petie.
Petie is a 6 month old Dane pup who was turned over to me about a week ago. (2 weeks from this original post)
His former owner's called and said that they knew I rescued Danes, and could I please take him in!
They were moving and.....blah, blah, blah! Well, as many of you have figured out, I am completely incapable of saying no b/c what if no one else took him and he got thrown out or into a breeder home, or bait in dog fighting, etc.
Here he is...
SO.....they bring him to my office and when they are signing him over, mention that he has a small cut on his "privates" that they had been treating with antibiotics for a couple of weeks.
Well, I began to look at him and saw blood dripping from his prepuce.
His gums were absolutely white and his skin was cool to the touch despite the 96 degree day.
I ran some bloodwork and found that his Packed cell volume was 8% (or in other words, he had lost 3/4 of his total blood volume). I proceeded to Check out the small cut, and THIS is what I found........
Can you believe that! I don't even want to THINK about how this happened!
It literally looked like someone tried to cut it off!!!!!"
Petie is located in Alamba.
If anyone wants further info on this puppy just holler.
