Repainting a Jerald Cart. Is it Possible?

Just purchased a Jerald cart, is it possible to have it repainted??. Can I send it to a furniture place to get painted or who/what/how ? Has anyone ever done this before? Just do not have time to send it back to Jerald.

Yes it is possible I have a Jerld cart that I bought in 1984 !! I took it to a Auto Paint and body shop and had it redone as they matched the color and put clear coat on and it looks just like new... you can order the new leathers and such from Jerld...

They need to be stripped down and sanded before painted , the body shop did that for me.. I had that done about 3 or 4 years ago , I think they charged me about $500

Yes I would think a furniture refinisher or a body shop could do this.The main thing is to get someone that can take it apart, paint it and reasemple it. DR.

Body shop is best bet. They work with metals and the correct primers, paints for such. Their equipment, spray guns, paint booths, etc. all allow for the best finish.
