Registration question

Filling out registration papers for this fella, (yep, I'm a slacker!

) He's my first chestnut foal to registry and I have no idea what to put down for his mane/tail color, it's still mixed with the red of his coat and blonde, I wouldn't be surprised if it went flaxen though, sooo what would I put down for this fella?

I'd register what color you have now, and you can correct later if his mane and tail lighten.

I would put mane is chestnut tail is flaxen along with a note saying either or may change as horse matures.
