Do yearlings that have a nice bite need to see an equine dentist??

I have an equine dentist coming to my area this weekend and wondered if the yearlings need to go, or I would bring a different horse...........help me make a decision.......THANKS

I always have yearlings seen. They usually don't need anything but sometimes caps get stuck on and can cause problems.

We have every horse checked by a dentist every year, regardless of age.

Ditto the above, I also have every horse checked, regardless of age. You never know what is going on in the back that you can't see. If one was starting to develope hooks or something that may eventually make the bite go off, you would never know.

Thank You for your replies.

I also have everyone checked annually but the yearlings rarely need anything done. So if you can only bring so many horses to the "dentist" I would pick the older horses first.
