I have several weanlings who are not registered yet. Just have to go pick up the pics and send the apps in. But Nationals entries are due next Tuesday. So not enough time obviously. I should not have procrastinated. Usually my foals registrations are sent in within a couple weeks of them being born.

Anyway, do the foals have to have registration papers in hand to enter them in the weanling classes or weanling futurity classes? I KNOW they have to have papers to show, but for some reason I am thinking that I can send in the entries with "pending" for their #. Am I correct? Or just dreaming?

If nobody knows for sure I will just call the R office on Monday, but since they are closed thought I would ask here first.

Must be AMHR registered at least 60 days prior to

the closing date of entries of the National Show.

Exceptions: Current year foals which must be

registered by the opening date of the show.

This is from the rule book.
