Question about Easy Entry/CDE carts

Beginner driver here. I currently own a wooden EE cart and would like to do some cones and obstacle classes down the line at the nearby CDE. Whenever I look up CDE carts EE carts come up. Are they the same thing? Are EE carts allowed at CDE?

Yes, your cart would be fine at Training level (assuming you have inflated wheels). Once you advance to Preliminary level you have to have solid wheels. Just make sure your cart is put together well and can handle the terrain.

I did my first few CDEs with an easy entry cart and my friend's granddaughter currently drives my gelding in an easy entry cart. Go out and have fun!
