Question about AMHR

Can you still register an AMHA horse into the AMHR ??

I should know this, but thought I would ask here first...thanks in advance...

At the moment, yes. I'm filling out paperwork as I type, for just that purpose.
 
I am also going through this right now.

I called AMHR and spoke with them about the rules and regulations regarding registering an AMHA horse in AMHR.

The horse has to be registered in the same name listed as the owner on AMHA papers. You have to fill out the application, send the proper pictures, a copy of both sides of the AMHA registrations papers, and send them Lots of money

over $200. I think it is a little pricey for a gelding.

I do not like the AMHA registration name of the horse that I am going to register in AMHR. I was told I could name him whatever I want.

In this case, I do think it is worth the effort, however.
 
l just mailed of my A papers pictures and fees for a yearling and a 5 month old to register in the R. As long as they have A papers l was told there was no age requirement..so l'm hoping l did it all okay and get the papers on them.

whoops l lied l only sent in copies of the A papers not the originals..

I also just sent in for a yearling colt that was only A. It was a total of $430
