Are you planning to come into Lexington, Kentucky to see the sights prior to the ASPC/AMHR Convention? Would you enjoy going on a motor coach tour of historic sites and local landmarks with your fellow small equine enthusiasts? Then consider joining us to "Experience the Bluegrass" on Monday 11/4/13 and/or Tuesday 11/5/13! Many of the historic sites we will visit will be closed for the season or on limited seasonal hours and are opening special for our tours. Don't miss out on this special opportunity!

Monday's itinerary includes:
--Guided Tour of Federal Hill Mansion at My Old Kentucky Home State Park
--Visit Nettie Jarvis Antiques in Historic Bloomfield, Kentucky for a special Kentucky treat
--Guided Tour of Woodford Reserve Distillery with lunch at Woodford Reserve's Dryer House prepared by the staff of renowned Chef Ouita Michel
--Visit Freedman Harness in Historic Downtown Midway, Kentucky
--Guided Tour of Waveland Plantation

Tuesday's itinerary includes:
--Guided Tour of the Mary Todd Lincoln House
--Guided Tour of Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate
--Visit the November Keeneland Breeding Stock Sale & Keeneland Gift Shop with lunch at the Keeneland Clubhouse Buffet
--Walking Tour of Thoroughbred Park
--Guided Tour of White Hall Mansion
--Visit the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, Kentucky

Cost to "Experience the Bluegrass" is $95 per day per person and includes deluxe motor coach transportation provided by Bluegrass Tours, lunch, and all guided tours. A non-refundable deposit of $40 per person per day is due to tour coordinator Dennis Robison no later than October 1, 2013. Space is limited to 50 people per day and reservations will be taken on a first come, first served basis!

A group reservation has also been made at the Merrick Inn in their Library Room for dinner Monday 11/4. The bus will be available to transport anyone who would like to join us at 7 pm for dinner at the Merrick Inn but the cost of the dinner is not included as part of the "Experience the Bluegrass" tour package.
