Poisonous weeds

An ag teacher visited my horses and pointed out that I had Black Nightshade growing in my horse pens...it is poisonous...so I killed it off today, but thought we could all use a reminder to watch for poisonous weeds or common flowers that are poisonous...I will attach some websites so you can check them out!

You musta been reading my mind

because I was going to post a reminder to all about Black Nightshade and the dangers too! Thanks so much for bringing this important dry lot/pasture check for a horribly noxious and poisonous weed to attention. It is very important you know about this weed.

Some of you may remember the terrible time our forum friend Frankie had with nightshade. Now is a prime blooming and fruit setting time for this plant. Identify/check your lots and destroy the plant.

Keep this bumped up to educate/refresh memories of everyone. You may just save a horses life!
