Please Help My computer is doing funky things

Right now when I turn it on it come in all funky colors. As I type this the back ground is pink with moving line through it. Does anyone know what might be going on? I took the battery out and it did nothing. It also has a long white line going through it. Should I take it to staples or call HP?

You could try system restore. If you aren't sure about it use your help search to read about it. You may lose some data, so make sure you know what to expect.

Otherwise, I would take it in to get it fixed.

Thanks. I unplugged it from the outlet and took out the battery last night and it's fine now. I'll have to see if it does it again when I plug it back in.
