Playtime!

This winter has been a rough one and the horses havent been able to get out and play as much as usual since we had soooo much snow that drifted all of our gates shut! Spotty was definitely enthusiastic about his playtime yesterday. It was so sunny and a nice warm 20 degrees that I couldnt resist letting everybody out to play!

LOVED your "warm 20 degrees" comment! Don't you just love when you get to that point in winter when it's finally above zero and you go, "what a nice day today!". The other day it was 6 degrees here including windchill PLUS it was sunny. I thought it was so wonderful outside so I walked the mile to work. That's when I realized that I need to move south

Hate the Snow

we have had way more than our normal this year

and frankly don't care to even see pics with snow ever again

What a cutie! My girls discovered the lower part of the paddock this weekend after 3 weeks of not being able to get to it!

Thanks for the comments everyone!!! Eagles Ring, I know what you mean about hating the snow LOL, this is the most we have had for quite a few years as well and usually most of it will melt in January but we didnt get a thaw this year so I finally had to have my fiance take and use the skidloader to scoop all of the snow out of my roundpen so I could turn horses out!
