Pinto Question

I am considering buying a minimally marked black pinto mare. I mean REALLY MINIMALLY marked - just half white tail and two white coronet socks. My question is - could she produce foals with more flashy pinto markings than herself? Bred to a solid color stallion?

Then I bet I know who you are talking about!

But to answer your question, yes, even a minimally marked horse can produce louder patterns than themselves.

To answer your question (and a picture is worth a thousand words) this stallion's sire and dam are both so minimally marked that they are registered as solid.
