Phantom Pregnancy & Milk PH

For those of you who have dealt with a phantom pregnancy, I am wanting to know if their milk PH drops like a normal mare who is open? Or would it be testing in the high 7's - 8's

Have only had one in over 20 years...We were only doing the water hardness test at that time for calcium and it reached mid range, as I recall, before she decided she wasn't pregnant. And yes, her belly got big, she bagged up, etc.

Had 1 years ago.Mare got huge and had lots of milk but no baby.I never checked the PH. She had so much milk I milked her and fed to another baby whose mom had mastitis.Even when out in the field and looked for a dead baby.False pregnancies make you crazy.
