I am still in shock, but wanted to let ya'll know that yesterday James O'Neal passed away. James was a friend of mine and while feeding his horses and other critters last night, he died of a massive coronary. Some may not have ever had the previlege of meeting James, but he was a nice fella with a big heart and a smile a mile long.

(copied from his website)

James O’Neal owned minis since 1974. Was one of the early members of AMHA serving as ring steward at the first three miniature national shows and started the Miniature Horse World Magazine in 1978.

So sorry for the loss- prayers to his family and friends.

Please send our condolences to his family and friends..... He left a wonderful legacy in the miniature horse world.
