Overdue Mare

I have a question for all you breeders out there.... We have a ASPC/AMHR mare who was bred late last year, and she is now due to foal.

Her last breed date was 08/17/2007, and she has always foaled on her 326th day..

Well this year she is 338, and does not have a very impressive bag.

What in the world is going on!! I know alot of people have had mares going over this year and doing odd things...

so what are your experiences?

Im tiered of watching her! lol

I feel your pain....I have one like that, and just when I decide "it's never going to happen...she's not pregnant anymore", then the next day her bag will change or I'll see what looks like foal movement!

I hope she comes through for you soon and gives you a beautiful healthy baby, exactly the one you are hoping for

I am waiting here too. My mare should be about 331 days today, and vet was here last week and did a blood test, so I am anxiously awaiting for it to come back. Last year she foaled at 342.
