our baby got her first boo boo

Our week old filly was running full out and put on the brakes but she wasn't experienced enough to know about rain slick grass. She slid right into the fence and skinned her face. Poor baby girl. It didn't break the skin but she skinned the hair off of one side of her face.

She did learn that she needed to put the brakes on sooner though.

We are sure enjoying her antics, this is the first foal we have had in 20 years.
