:no: A wonderful family who took in an abused mare and gentled her, have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of a foal. They've been staying in the barn to keep watch....left for a couple hours, and foal didn't get out of the sac.
IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO NEEDS A NURSE MARE....as this one is grieving something terrible.
Also, I suggested the strip her colostrum, place it in a ziploc with time/date and freeze it.
If unable to find an orphan via contact with all vet hospitals, etc. they would love to help with the frozen colostrum so another family can be helped.
