These are pixs from the 4th of July at a BIG community "picnic" event at Lake Gregory in Crestline, California.

Here Saber was officially tested and passed to start his way on becoming a Therapy Animal

(through the organization Love On A Leash) and part of a group here in the mountains called Rim of the World Comfort Pets.

Freshly shaved it was a bright day & I didn't want him to burn.

Saber is sitting in this group shot. He kept trying to scoot over to be in my lap. Silly stallion.

Playing "tap" on his stool - eventually I'm planning on building a small round rise and paint it to look like a drum.

if there was EVER an animal, ANY animal, born to do therapy work, he's IT!!

I'm not at all surprised he passed the test! Can't wait for pictures of his official therapy work, will he be visiting hospitals?

I didn't know he was a stallion till now. For some reason I had it in my mind that Stallions couldn't do therapy work :DOH! He looks like he loves all the attention

He's gonna make a lot of people very happy

Just add me to his fan club.

You guys are the greatest.

Yeah, Saber will be going to a couple different hospitals and he may even be assisting in a reading program for kids (where they typically read to dogs)

We won't officially be doing this stuff until after we (hopefully

) have puppies and they are grown.

*If she's expecting due date is late Aug*

However, here are a couple of pixs from the Covalescent Hospital my FIL is at.

Saber was in the front courtyard there as this hospital is often crowded in the many hallways with wheelchair to where just a person walking around is difficult.

We've gone there "unofficially" a few times and Saber has been a hit each time.
