This is Shimmer's third foal. Foal #1 was hip locked and didn't make it. Foal #2 last year had the cord around it neck and didn't make it. It was very sad, even though she'd never had a live one, she stood at the fence and looked at the mares and babies for a week. Kinda like she was in morning. It broke my heart.

But this year!!!!!

I told her this year she'd get one. Boy did we get one! She's an outstanding mother too!
