Night blindness in horses

Has anyone experienced this? I have a APHA yearling colt who only tears down the electric fence at night.i have flags on the fence and he doesnt bother it during the day.i have had him two weeks and fix the fence everyday..he tears it down and stands there in one spot till I come out and get the fence up in the morning..i know it happens in appaloosas,but has anyone had it happen in your big horses or your minis? It seems to me he may just cant see it.i finally just gave in and took it down,and let him in with our goats.

Try putting him in a stall at night with anight light. I use a 25 watt bulb it is all that is necessary.
