Beach Boys sang a version of "California Dreaming", so I was thinking pulling names from the band members, but might be short on girly names doing that... How about "Wilson", "Love", "Jardine" and I'm having trouble with a fourth name, perhaps something pulled from a song, even "Dream" as a name.

We got the little old dude moved over to my friends place yesterday. What a little champ he is. Went right up our makeshift ramp into her minivan. I rode in the back with him the ten minutes to her place and he was chill the whole time. He was thrilled to leap out into her perfect lawn when we arrived and enjoyed meeting her Tennessee walker mares the old boys still got it. He has definitely put on weight just in the last week and is feeling much more sparky!!

I wouldn't recommend mixing with full size, and keep an eye on him, if the big mares come in heat, he'll try to get to them, don't think size will deter him.

I wouldn't advise mixing with full-size. And, if that is not the intention; just keep an eye on him around mares, even full-size mares, he may work hard at finding a way to get to them when they come into heat. [A persistent stallion with a willing mare can make it happen; full-size mares have been known to lay down to accommodate a mini stallion.]

Yes, he won't be going in with them, he's much too small, they'd end up kicking his head off I'm sure LOL. He has his own turnout space and stall for nighttime to be safe from anything bigger than he is.

Bisous, Bellini and Blush all had their first farrier day with us today and besides a little bit of baby Bellini tantrum for a minute, they all were actually really good! They're doing so well and we are looking forward to Bisous to foal in another month or two based on the vets best guess after he checked her last week. So keeping an eye on her bag for now. I am loving these three girls though, they bring me such joy every day <3

This is so sweet, your three new additions deserve the best home <3 my philosophy is to always try and rescue first. How are they doing? Any baby yet? I brought my mini home in April and she just had her foal last Friday, It was all so exciting!

Bisous, one of the three mini mares we "rescued" in March, foaled a gorgeous filly this morning at 1:55am, she was up in 20 minutes and was nursing within the hour and mom had cleaned out. She is marked almost exactly like momma and is looking like she is a silver bay, she has beautiful brown tone to her and her mane is chocolate, no black hairs, tail is also chocolate with lots of cream hairs in it. She is beautiful and so sweet and her mom, although very protective is being great about letting baby get to know us and be handled. Vet check later this afternoon, but all is looking glorious so far! Now for a name!!

Seems rather dark for silver bay, but possible. May be regular bay, the points can take time to color up and be black, and with her white legs it may take a bit longer to visually tell.
Congrats!

My little guy has more going on, but is silver bay plus appy genes (can cause color shifting), and I think he has dun like his dam, but so hard to tell on the light coat. [His momma is tested homozygous for dominant extension, so he can not be red. She tests EE Aa no cream, dun and silver were not available at time of her testing. So this little one is E_A_ (I don't have testing on his dark bay sire, other than LWO negative; although I know he's E_Aa by parentage).]
