Welcome to the forum and bless you for taking in a rescue!! Dwarfs have the sweetest personalities...and usually have problems keeping the weight off, so he must have been really starved, poor thing! Once you get the weight on again, be careful about over feeding!

Thanks so much for the reply-he really has been very good with the vet and the dentist. The dentist did say he once was a very fat pony-and I can see that. He'll be that way again (not soon enough for me) but we'll take out time...
