Need some information on pregnant mom

My youngest daughters first child, now going into her 31st. week.

High blood pressure last week, Dr. took her off work being standing on feet all day, hairstylist.

Blood pressure last week, 138 over 90 and than next day 140 over 90 and really bad swelled feet and face. Nothing showing in urine or blood test that where taken.

Today week later, back at the doctors 148 over 104 (feet and face not swoolen as much)

so now the Dr. wants her to do a 24 hour urine sample. and her Dr.s trying to get an appointment with a specialist.

Has anyone here have this problem and what should I be concerned about, do not want to worry my daughter.

She has been resting and doing nothing, but she says has just been really tired.

Anything she can do?, doctor believes she will come early, and this should not be happening untill her last few weeks....

Please the good and the bad about high blood pressure experiences when carrying?

Daughters Doctor just called has an appointment tomorrow afternoon with a specialist.

I really have no information to give but wanted to let you know that she and her baby are in my thoughts and prayers...I hope things turn out right for all...

I had this with Cassidy. They put me on bed rest. [SIZE=10pt]Lay on left side don't get up much.[/SIZE]I had to do theurine thing also. It's for potasium and to make sure your kidney's are working properly. As long as the Doctor is on it and calling specialists she'll be fine. If her BP keeps going up she might have to have the baby early as that will be the only way to relieve the BP.
