Need Help Arthritis in mini

Our 19 year old mare has been lame and vet was just out and diagnosed as arthritis. She gave us pain killer for daily use. Anyone have any additional ideas or experience with arthetic mini?? It is in her left shoulder the worse but per vet also starting in right shoulder.

Will any joint supplements etc. help at all??

had a old shetland mare that lived past 33 years of age.

I had her on a powdered yucca. It was about 98-99% pure yucca powder. NOT the pellets. The pellets have a LOT LESS Yucca in them. It took just a few days to get here used to it. It smells like anissette. I think it helped her a lot. When I would run out for a few days, I would notice that she was ouchy, so after that I tried to never run out of it.

I swear by Cetyl-M for joint issues, my boy has ringbone and stifle issues and this stuff works wonders. The vet has been amazed too. Any future damage has been stalled, no new progress in any either issue.
