After 3 colts, my beautiful buckskin mare had a filly. The ring test was right. YEA.

Born yesterday afternoon around 2:30.

She is a spitten image of her sire, Zephyr Woods Sporty Buckeroo.......A Little Kings Little Buckeroo (aka Junior) son.

She has the cutest dishy face. I'm in love.....

How do you know if the color is chestnut or sorrel???

Her legs look white and lots of white in her tail.

I stink at colors but I gotta say, she looks pretty cute! Congratulations on your new baby girl

Congrats!!! And honestly on the difference between sorrel/chestnut, there really isn't any IMO

There is no difference between chestnut and sorrel. Its all just a red based horse just different terminology depending on what discipline or where you were raised

Congratulation!!

As far as I know sorrel/chestnut are the same.

She's such a pretty little girl, congratulations. As far as sorrel and chestnut, they are genetically the same (red gene) but around here people refer to the deeper shades as chesnut and the lighter ones as sorrel. For registration purposes they are the same.
