We finally have some fencing up on the property we bought. Please forgive the old house in the background - we are almost done gutting the interior at this time and the outside just has to wait.

This is our rescue mare, Marlee. She has gained about 100 lbs and is doing great - but I still haven't gotten all the caked on manure off her knees. Now that she is shedding out we are finding scars all over her poor body - for a young mare she has been through h***!

These photos all make them look short and narrow but the smallest is 15.1H. Gunner is actually a tank!!!

The black horse was headed to the kill buyer. He was a ranch horse that went "rogue" or so they said.

I think he just wanted to be spoiled for a change.

He is an Appendix registered Quarter Horse and everything I ever wanted. Here is another photo of Gunner:
