For those who use the moorman's grostrong loose minerals, how much do you use?

There isn't a weight chart on the bag.

Thanks

Why not contact Moormans and ask them directly?

I am doing that this morning. However, when I asked this question, it was the weekend and they weren't open. I wanted to get started over the weekend, that's why I posted the question.

For my pasture horses I feed it loose, they eat what they want, when they want.

Show horses about a 1/2 teaspoon or so a day, I don't measure it but just a big pinch.

It's just a mineral that comes in a bag.....(salt type mineral) not sure what to compare it to - Purina 12/12 ext.....

Sorry, I wasn't trying to start anything. Just trying to help.
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound harsh - I know you were just trying to help

I did get a call back from Moormans today and he suggested 1/2 oz per day, so I'll just give him about 1 tsp morning and 1 tsp evening along with his hay. That should take care of it!

I have used Grow Strong Minerals for years. It is just a vitamin/mineral loose powder. You can use it to top dress or just put it out in a bucket and free feed it. It depends on the weight of the horse. It is 1-3 oz. for a 1100 lb. horse.
