Mare Problems

hey, I have a mare but she some times acts like a stud. Is this okay or is there something wrong here.

There might be one of two things going on.....

1) her heat cycles (hormones) could be confused.....perhaps because of the time of year.

2) she may just be showing dominance to other horses.

She acts this way year round. She is the dominate mare any way so maybe that is it. Either that or she is confused.
