Hey guys--

Does anyone feed Manna Pro Safe Performance? I'd like to know what you think of it, do the horses like it, etc...It is a "Controlled Starch Formula", no corn or molasses.

Here's the website if you wanna take a look:

Manna Pro Safe Performance Feed

I am not currently feeding it to my horses, I'm just curious about it.

Thanks!

I tried a couple of bags. The rep told my feedstore they could "give" me a bag to see if the horses like it. I currently feed Safe Choice and Manna claims it is equvilant. The good thing with the Manna is that the ingredients tell you exactly what is in it. Safe Choice just says "grain products". BUT......the Manna folks don't say that it is good for all types of horses like the Safe Choice is. They recommend you buy the Mare and Foal or the Performance feed for broodmares and high activity horses.

Out of the 18 I have here, only 1 liked it over the Safe Choice. For me, not worth switching over to. It does cost about the same as the Safe Choice though.
