I have a mare here who is having a bad reaction to the bugs on her face. She has rubbed the skin completely off on her face in places. Not in places that a fly mask would help. No one in our little town carries SWAT except the vets and they are closed. Is there a way to make your own? I was thinking that I have zincofax here (baby bum cream) but how can I repel the bugs as well for her?
