    Hey all.

I wanted to share this because I thought it was pretty cool. I've followed Kaley Cuoco (Penny in the Big Bang Theory) for a while, as I love seeing her with her horses and love seeing celebs promoting the horse world. She is an avid show jumper for those who don't know. She's just fantastic and has such a BIG heart when it comes to animals.

Well she's adopted a mini. The little cutie's name is Shmooshy, as she is a Dwarf and has a bit of a smooshed nose. She got her from The Peeps Foundation (http://www.thepeepsfoundation.com/), a rescue that takes in neglected minis, but specializes in Dwarfs.

Shmooshy has her own Instagram account (@lifewithshmooshy), which I will be following closely. I'm hoping that Kaley uses this as an opportunity to educate about Dwarfism. I do think she will as she seems to be working closely with the rescue, and has helped get their name out there. I find this rather timely after Debby-LB's post about minis being misrepresented.

I don't know we'll see what happens. But boy do they have some darling pictures!

I knew she was an avid equestrian But didn't know she adopted a little dwarf so thank you for posting this and the link to check out the foundation. Their story I just read is amazing. I too hope she (Kaley) uses this as an opportunity to educate about Dwarfism. I think she now needs another mini to go with this one. [IMG]
Having another one who is an excellent representative of the breed would help educate people about dwarfism.

Well if I've learned anything from this forum... it's that you eventually end up with another mini! [IMG] Potato chips!
