First foal of the year and is a gray and white pinto filly. Can someone post a picture for me? I would love to share this baby with you.

Thanks for posting the picture for me Gage I appreciate it.

Her sire is a sorrell but he throw lots of silvers and grays. I think he must have a silver gene, if there is such a thing. His sire is gray/white pinto and dam is a gray.

Definitely not Grey, that is a simple dominant, one parent has to be Grey to get Grey, it's as simple as that. With Silver, it can hide in Sorrel (Red) and make no difference to the colour, Silver only expresses on Black. The sire cannot sire true Greys, they must have been misidentified. Nice filly, whatever colour ( I LOVE Silvers)

If the sire is sorrel you already have your awnser, a grey will turn white.

Are you sure he is sorrel and not silver-bay? Those get confused alot.
